On-site Copyright Office Services Reopening by Appointment Only

Beginning July 8, 2021, on-site services at the U.S. Copyright Office will open to the public by appointment only. To submit claims, request certified copies of certificates or copyright deposits, or conduct other in-person business, please make an appointment. Note: Due to renovations, the Copyright Records Reading Room remains temporarily closed.

The Office will continue to provide online assistance for registering works, searching copyright-related records, learning about copyright topics, and obtaining other services.
