Final Rule Streamlining Regulation on Copyright Notice
The United States Copyright Office has issued a final rule amending 37 C.F.R. §§ 201.20 and 202.2. This final rule makes non-substantive technical changes to the organization of regulations concerning copyright notice. The Office has determined that the regulations currently contained in 37 C.F.R. 201.20 and 37 C.F.R. 202.2 are more appropriately contained in a single location and is therefore appending the contents of section 201.20 to section 202.2. Because the changes are non-substantive, the rule is being issued without prior public notice and comment.
