Cable Statements of Account to Be Available in Mid- to Late June

The Copyright Office’s Licensing Division is alerting cable operators that statements of account—SA 1-2 (short form) and SA 3 (long form)—for the January 1–June 30, 2010, accounting period will not be available for use until mid- to late June 2010. The Licensing Division asks that cable operators not use the 2009 statement of account form currently available on its website to file statements for the January 1–June 30, 2010, accounting period. The 2009 form should be used only to file 2009 statements of account. Forms for the January 1–June 30, 2010, accounting period will be made available shortly on the division’s website (www.copyright.gov/licensing) and mailed as soon thereafter as practicable. Please note that cable statement of account forms produced by private vendors will be subject to the same delay.
