Announces Interim Regulation Governing Termination of Post-1977
Transfers
The Copyright Office is publishing in the
Federal Register (67 FR 78176) an interim regulation, effective
January 1, 2003, governing the form, content, and manner of service
of notices of termination of transfers or licenses of copyright
that were granted in or after 1978. Such notices may be served,
for the first time, beginning January 1, 2003. The interim regulation
is based on a proposed regulation published in the Federal Register
(67 FR 77951; see NewsNet 180) on December 20, 2002.
