Copyright Office Corrects Notification of Request
The Copyright Office published a notification from
the Authors Rights Restoration Corporation that it was requesting a retraction
of all its filings in the Copyright Office of Notices of Intent to Enforce
restored copyrights under the Uruguay Round Agreements Act. The notice
was published in the Federal Register on December 3, 2001 (66 FR 60223).
The Copyright Office now announces nonsubstantial corrections to the table
of titles published in that notice. (read

Voluntary Negotiation Period, Precontroversy
Discovery Schedule, and Request for Notices of Intent to Participate Announced
The Copyright Office announces a voluntary negotiation
period for the 17 U.S.C. 118 noncommercial educational broadcasting compulsory
license, together with a precontroversy discovery schedule, a request
for Notices of Intent to Participate, and the initiation date should arbitration
proceedings be necessary. Notices of Intent to Participate are due on
or before April 25. (read
