Comments in Section 1201 Rulemaking Proceeding Posted on Copyright
Office Website
Reply comments in the triennial rulemaking
proceeding on exemptions from the prohibition on circumvention of
technological measures that control access to copyrighted works
are now available on the Copyright Office website. These comments
represent the second round of comments and are from persons who
oppose or support any exemptions proposed in the initial comments.
The reply comments respond to the proposals made in the initial
comments and address whether a proposed exemption should or should
not be adopted. Both rounds of comments and additional information
on the section 1201 rulemaking proceeding are on our 1201
website page.
